Your design is the starting point. From there, every table is built up step by step: from milling the shape and carefully rounding the details to hand-applying the mineral finish and protective coatings.

The artisan process

Crafted for you

Every table begins with the configuration you create. Your selected shape and dimensions are digitally prepared and milled from a 40 mm water-resistant Okoume plywood core - for clean lines, balanced proportions, and a solid foundation for the handcrafted finish.

Built by hand

Assembly & preparation

The tabletop and base are carefully assembled, refined, and prepared by hand. Every edge, curve, and surface is checked before finishing begins. Sharp corners are replaced by softly rounded edges - subtle detailing that enhances the natural, stone-inspired character.

A unique surface

Mineral finish & protection

Multiple layers of premium mineral coating are applied and refined by hand, creating subtle depth, texture, and tonal variation. Once sealed, the surface is protected against daily use while retaining its natural character.

Place your order and pay a 50% deposit via iDEAL to start production; the remaining 50% is due on completion. Every table is made to order in our own workshop and finished by hand. Average lead time is 6-10 weeks, with delivery and installation included within the Netherlands.

Crafted Elements grew out of a passion for materials and craft: colour, texture and form should strengthen one another. That idea is in the name.

With over fifteen years in high-end interior finishing, we work with mineral plasters and other natural materials every day. That experience is the foundation of everything we make, from handcrafted tables to complete wall, floor and ceiling finishes.

Every table is made to order and finished by hand. No two mineral surfaces are exactly alike, and the subtle differences in texture and colour are what make each piece its own.

We combine traditional craft with modern technique. CNC milling gets us to refined shapes; everything after that is done by hand, and that is where the character comes from.

Design & ordering

Are the tables made by hand?

Yes. Every table is handcrafted and made to order. Each piece is individually built and finished by hand, so every table is unique.

Can I save my design and come back later?

The configurator remembers your design in the browser you built it in, so you can close the tab and pick it up where you left off. Request samples or place your order and it also gets its own private link, sent with your confirmation, to return to from anywhere or share with your partner. No account is needed.

Are samples available?

Yes. Material samples can be ordered through the configurator so you can experience the colour, texture, and finish in person. Samples are indicative only.

Can I visit a showroom?

Yes. You are welcome to visit our showroom in Zoetermeer to see and feel the tables and mineral finishes in person. Visits are by appointment only - Get in touch to arrange a time.

Can I order a custom size?

Our collection is available in a selection of standard dimensions chosen for balanced proportions and stability. Custom dimensions are available exclusively through our bespoke service.

Can I choose a different shape or base?

Yes, from our curated collection of standard shapes and base designs, all of which can be explored in the configurator. Shapes or configurations outside the collection are available through our bespoke service.

Can I choose the colour?

Yes. We offer a carefully curated range of mineral finish colours, and material samples are available to help you choose. Because every table is finished by hand, subtle variations in tone and texture are part of the natural character of the material.

Do you offer bespoke designs?

Yes. Alongside the collection, we make fully bespoke tables tailored to your preferred dimensions, shape, and finish. Get in touch to start a bespoke piece.

How is the table delivered?

The tabletop and bases are packed separately but delivered together on a single pallet. Delivery and installation are available within the Netherlands. International orders are supplied door-to-door and require self-installation.

How long does production take?

Because every table is made to order, lead times vary with the model and current production schedule. The average lead time is 6-10 weeks.

What materials are used?

A high-quality 40 mm Okoume plywood core, finished with premium mineral-based coatings and protective sealers for excellent stability and durability.

How thick is the tabletop?

The tabletop is approximately 40-45 mm thick, depending on the model and finish.

What are the standard heights?

Dining tables are 76 cm and coffee tables are 35 cm, measured from the floor to the top surface. As natural materials are used, the height may deviate by a few millimetres. Custom heights are available through our bespoke service.

Will my table look exactly like the pictures?

No. Even though the tops and legs are CNC-milled, every table is unique. Slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are part of the handcrafted nature of the material. Colours on screens and in photographs are indicative only - order a sample for the truest reference.

How many people can sit at the table?

As a guideline: 180 cm seats 4-6, 200 cm seats 6, 220 cm seats 6-8, 240 cm seats 8, 260 cm seats 8-10, 280 cm seats 10, and 300 cm seats 10-12. Capacity varies with chair size, table shape, and base configuration.

Can matching coffee tables be made?

Yes. Many dining designs can also be produced as matching coffee tables for a cohesive look throughout the interior.

Are the tables suitable for commercial use?

Yes. Our tables suit residential interiors as well as selected commercial environments such as offices, hospitality spaces, and showrooms.

Are your tables sustainable?

Every table is made to order to avoid unnecessary waste, and built from durable materials intended for long-term use. A piece to keep, repair, and refinish rather than replace.

Care & durability

Are the tables waterproof?

The protective finish makes the surface highly water-resistant and suitable for everyday use. Avoid prolonged exposure to standing water and acidic drinks.

Are the tables scratch-proof?

No surface is completely scratch-proof. The finish is highly durable, but normal signs of use may develop over time and are considered part of everyday wear.

Can hot pans or dishes go directly on the table?

We recommend coasters and trivets. Excessive heat may affect the protective finish over time.

Can the table be used outdoors?

Our tables are designed primarily for indoor use. They may be used outdoors under a roof or shelter, provided they are protected from direct weather and standing water.

Will sunlight affect the colour?

Natural pigments and mineral finishes may develop subtle colour changes over time when exposed to direct sunlight or UV light. This is part of the natural ageing process of the material.

Can cracks occur?

Hairline cracks are very rare thanks to the stable 40 mm Okoume construction. That said, natural materials respond to changes in temperature and humidity, so minor movement can never be completely excluded. It is considered part of the character of a handcrafted piece.

How do I clean and care for the table?

For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth with warm water. For a deeper clean, use two parts warm water to one part natural vinegar, or warm water with a little natural soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, and harsh chemicals.

Can damage be repaired or refinished?

Minor damage or wear can often be repaired or refinished, extending the life of the table. Contact us for advice on repairs or refurbishment; depending on the work involved, these services may carry an additional cost.

What warranty do you provide?

All tables come with a standard 2-year warranty in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Delivery & installation

Can I install the table myself?

Yes, installation is straightforward. Each base has a steel mounting ring that extends about 3 cm beyond the base and fits into a 5 mm recessed groove in the underside of the tabletop. The ring is pre-drilled, so the tabletop fixes securely with the supplied screws. In five steps:

Unpack all components.
Apply the supplied felt pads underneath the bases.
Fill the bases with gravel for added weight and stability.
Position the bases in the desired location.
Place the tabletop onto the bases and secure it with the supplied screws.

No special tools are needed beyond a screwdriver and something to carefully remove the protective packaging.

How heavy is the table?

The tabletop weighs about 25 kg per m². Each base weighs around 10 kg before filling and can be filled with roughly 25-50 kg of gravel for stability.

Is gravel included? Is floor protection included?

For deliveries within the Netherlands, gravel is included as part of our installation service; for international deliveries it is not included and can be sourced locally. Self-adhesive felt pads are supplied with every table to protect delicate floors.
